Simon Raperport FCA, Client Finance Director -

Simon qualified with Deloittes and, following this, during a nine-year spell in the cable manufacturing industry, he was appointed Finance Director of his employer company. He then went on to hold similar positions in the lighting and electronics sectors.

He has been a finance director in both public and private groups of companies (both UK- and US-owned), and has significant experience in manufacturing and distribution, complemented by experience of change management and of service sector businesses.

Simon has spent the past 14 years acting as an interim FD with companies not requiring that position filled on a full-time basis, but holding full responsibility for the finance function in each case. His broad experience has seen him involved in a variety of diverse industries, including marketing services, magazine publishing, mobile telephony, car parts, computer manufacture, and investment management. In the latter position, he also acted as an FSA-registered finance officer.
