Newsletter Sent by email 26 Feb 08
Hello
And welcome to the FD Solutions Newsletter, a short, occasional e-mail about us.
Those of you that have known us for 10 years or more may be surprised to know that we are now 45 strong. There are 25 FDs, 12 FCs, 4 book-keepers, and 4 support staff.
Last year we grew revenues by 87% and continued to maintain our quality.
The Financial Reporting Review Panel accepted a set of IFRS accounts prepared by us having previously been critical of the company’s application and interpretation of the Standards. The grateful client has retained us to assist them in the future.
We thought that a client could operate more cost effectively by obtaining invoice data from their supplier electronically. When told that the supplier had no plans to do this we rang them up and they agreed to implement this as a matter of urgency.
A company looking to list on AIM completed the paperwork within a month, thanks to our assistance. It helped that we could start within 24 hours of getting the call and we continue to stand by our claim that we are immediately available.
Brian Chernett, CEO of The Academy of Chief Executives looked at a forecast recently prepared by us and commented “This is perfect”
This year, whilst continuing to grow in London and the South East, we are expanding both nationally and internationally. We are now represented in Australia (Sydney) and New Zealand (Auckland) as well as Birmingham, Reading, Oxford, Southampton and Bristol. We will be working to expand these operations this year and also to establish ourselves in Leeds and Manchester.
And that’s it for now. We know you lead busy lives and if you think that you, your clients, or anybody you know can benefit from assistance from the market leading provider of part-time FDs please feel free to contact us. You might also like to know that each of us will devote four days a year to pro bono work such as being treasurer to a charity. So if you know of any such needs please don’t be afraid to ask.
Best regards
Malcolm Durham |
