Plus Markets Group ("PMG") is an independent UK provider of primary and secondary equity market services and currently trades over 850 small and mid-cap company shares, representing a combined market capitalisation of over £150 billion.

Its primary market specialises in smaller companies, domestic and international, representing a wide range of sectors and all stages of development. There are currently some 180 companies quoted on the primary market with a combined market cap of over £2.4 billion.

PMG’s secondary market trading platform is based on a quote-driven trading model, which they consider the most efficient and effective system by which shares in small and mid-cap companies may be traded. Market-makers commit their own capital to the market, playing a key role in providing both price formation and liquidity.

Following a call from Simon Brickles, former head of AIM before becoming Plus Markets’ CEO, we were delighted to get involved and help to bolster their finance function at a time of rapid expansion. Several staff from FD Solutions enjoyed a number of weeks at PMG’s HQ in the City of London working on business planning & forecasting with this fast-growing client, and we look forward to remaining involved whenever other projects arise on which we can assist.
